Poprad

On the last day we will make a short trip to Poprad. Poprad is the biggest town in the Spis region. It lies south-east of the Basin and on both sides of the river Poprad. In the middle of the main square there is the church of St. Egidius, an Early-Gothic Roman-Catholic church from the late 13th century. Its interior hosts the medieval wall paintings from the first half of the 15th century, which are preserved. You will be able to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the town whilst browsing around the many local shops. Visit the bookshop Christiania where you can buy books, postcards, posters & local souvenirs.
