Zakopane

Visit to the polish town Zakopane, cable-car to Gubalowka - Polish High Tatras.

On our trip to Poland we will visit the main tourist centre of the Polish Tatras, Zakopane. In the centre of Zakopane are many famous buildings, which boast of their original history, favourite coffee houses, restaurants, exclusive shops, tourist bureaux and the stone parish church of the Holy Family in the Neo-Romanesque style. At the bottom of the town we will come to the local market with all the typical home made products, you will see people selling their sheep cheese, home made butter & honey and goods that they will let you try before buying. There is also a big choice of different souvenirs often made out of wood on offer. At the end of the market is the rack-railway station and it will take us to Gubalowka, which is the highest situated mountain area of Zakopane. The peak and ridge meadows of Gubalowka offer a splendid view of the Tatras and the Row Zakopiansky furrow.
