This park is located in the north of eastern Slovakia in the mountain range of Spišská Magura and it partly forms a natural border with Poland. Pieniny is Slovakia’s smallest national park and is rich in natural beauty and picturesque scenery.

There are over 20 species of fish in the Dunajec river including trout and huchen.
