The Slovak Paradise National Park
This park is located on the south-east of the High Tatras in the north-eastern part of the mountain range of Slovenské Rudohorie. It is best typified by its impressively deep gorges and canyons 150 – 450 m deep which is created in limestone and dolomite by the water currents. The best known gorges include Suchá Belá, Piecky, Sokol and Kyseľ with numerous waterfalls. The highest point of the Slovak paradise is Mt. Javorina 1186 m.

The Slovak national park also houses a 21-km-long cave Stratenská jaskyňa which is the longest and largest cave in Slovakia.
