Kezmarska biela voda - Zelene pleso - Biele pleso – Chata Plesnivec - Kezmarske Zlaby

Highest point: Velke Biele Pleso 1615 m. o. s. l.
Elevation Gain: 665 m
Moderate all day hiking tour with low altitude difference. We start at Biela voda carpark and will walk through the valley called dolina Kezmarskej Bielej vody. Well maintained mountain path along beautiful mountain brook called Biely potok with numbrs of small waterfalls on large boulders. From the spring Salviov pramen the path starts to ascend and leads us above the tree line level. The first part of the hike finishes at mountain hut Chata pri Zelenom plese named after the mountain lake that’s situated next to. The lake has got beautiful green color. After a short break and refreshments at the hut we will ascent for another 30 minutes to the second lake called Biele pleso. From here we will descent to the second mountain hut Plesnivec through meadows full of alpine flowers. The path will take us back to the starting point.
If needed the walk can be slightly amended and shortened.
Popradske pleso – Zabie plesa – Chata Rysy
Difficulty: Moderate
Hike Time: 7 hours
Lowest point: Popradske pleso train stop 1250 m. o. s. l.
Highest point: Chata Rysy 2250 m. o. s. l.
Elevation Gain: 1000 m
Moderate all day hiking tour with short scrambling (can be avoided) before reaching the mountain hut. First part of the walk is an ascent on tarmac road that will take us mountain tarn – Popradske pleso. There is a mountain hut with accommodation located directly next to the tarn, where we can have a short stop for a refreshing drink. From here on we will ascent on mountain path through the forest crossing mountain brooks with beautiful views of surrounding mountains. After steeper ascent the beauty of two mountain tarns will surprise us. The tarns called Zabie pleas and the path around them flattens off. Here we have already reached the altitude above trees and short scrambling secured by chains will test us. Once that passed, only a short hike up some step-like stones will take us to our destination – mountain hut called Chata pod Rysmi. As the hut offers food and drinks we can have a lunch break before descending back to Popradske pleso.
To avoid scrambling the final park of the walk can be slightly amended by hiking to the largest and deepest tarn in Slovakia – Velke Hincovo pleso instead of the mountain hut.
Podlesok – Sucha bela – Klastorisko

Hike Time: 5 hours
Lowest point: Podlesok 550 m. o. s. l.
Highest point: 959 m. o. s. l.
Elevation Gain: 409 m
Moderate all day hiking tour through gorges; path is secured by wooden and iron ladders, chains, steps and footbridges in the gorge. They require an extra caution. Beautiful passage through the gorge called Sucha bela is one-way only and by climbing number of ladders we will admire the beauty of waterfalls and brooks running down the gorge along the path. The demanding passage through the mysterious scenery of cascades, waterfalls and abysses is secured by artificial climbing aids. Once on top of the hill we will take a short break and from there on the route runs on comfortable forest roads and paths. From the path we will have a view of the valley bellow and the full panorama of the Hight Tatras on the opposite site. Our next stop will be at Klastorisko where we will visit the ruins of Carthusian monastery from late 13th century. The tourist located here serves food and drinks and gives us an opportunity to take a break for lunch. From here we will descent back to the starting point – Podlesok.
Zdiar - Monkova dolina - Kopske sedlo - Medodoly – Tatranska Javorina

Highest point: Siroke sedlo 1825 m. o. s. l.
Elevation Gain: 825 m
Moderate all day hiking tour with ascent through a valley and long descent without refreshment or shelter points. This hike is in the very eastern part of the Tatra mountain range – Belianske Tatry. We will start in village called Zdiar and ascent through the one and only opened valley in the Belianske Tatras – Monkova dolina. The walk offers great views of the hills opposite – Spisska magura and the view will get better and better with every step. The valley is full of wild life and if we are lucky we will have a chance to see marmots and chamois. After reaching the saddle – Siroke sedlo the view of the High Tatras will open and we will be able to compare the look of the two very different mountains due to one being a granite type and the other limestone. After we catch the breath and have a bite to eat form our lunch packs we will carry on. The path ascent for a very few more meters and then turns down through beautiful wide valley called Medodoly, where copper use to be mined in the past. While we enjoy the views into as far as Poland the path will take us to our final destination Tatranska Javorina.
Smokovec - Hrebienok – Zamkovskeho chata – Teryho chata

Hike Time: 7 hours
Lowest point: Stary Smokovec 1010 m. o. s. l.
Highest point: Teryho chata 2015 m. o. s. l.
Elevation Gain: 1005 m
Moderate all day hiking tour with steep steps shortly before the highest point. The hike starts in the largest settlement in the High Tatras – Stary Smokovec. A tarmac road will take us to Hrebienok. From here on we will follow rather flat mountain path through the forrest. Short ascent with views of the Poprad valley will take us to the first stop at mountain hut called Zamkovskeho chata. The hut is located in the middle of the forest and offers refreshments and shelter. The path from here on will start to get steeper and steeper and will take us above the tree line level. As soon as the views of the peaks around open we will forget about the steep path and with short breaks reach our destination Teryho chata. Tereyho chata is a mountain hut located below Lomnicky peak, the second highest peak in the High Tatras. The hut is located next to 5 mountain lakes and we will see some of them.
The same path will take us back to the starting point Stary Smokovec.
