Chata Koliesko is the highest situated cottage in Demänová valley, 1235 meters above the sea level. It is situated upon the chairlift Koliesko - Luková (Chopok). Cottage was founded in 1948. Originally it serves as a hostel for workers of chairlift Jasna - Lukova. For decades it was the popular ski restaurant that became a legend among the skiers, tourists and lovers of the Tatras.

In 1995 it was completely restored and rebuilt as the family pension in the original style. Cottage proclaimed their home kitchen and comfortable accommodation until 2007 when it burnt to the ground.

In December 2009 the reconstruction was completed.

Cottage currently has 9 double rooms including 3 rooms with baby beds and one appartment. Furthermore, there is a restaurant for 55 people where your breakfast and dinner will be served.
